Federal officials have stopped payment for all new admissions at the Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park, effectively stopping the home from accepting new patients, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Officials said they will cut off all Medicare and Medicaid funding if the facility doesn’t improve conditions by March 2023.
