Pfizer is to seek approval for a booster for 16- and 17-year-olds

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is strengthening its recommendation on COVID-19 booster shots, saying all U.S. adults should get a booster, following the emergence of the new omicron coronavirus variant. And the Pfizer drug company says it will seek approval for a booster shot of its COVID-19 vaccine for 16- and 17-year-olds.
