President Barack Obama visited Fresno for the first time. He met with farmers and toured drought stricken areas in Firebaugh and Los Banos. The President announced more than $160 million in federal financial aid. Obama’s time in the Central Valley was short, he landed at Fresno Yosemite International Airport just after 2:30 PM on February 14, 2014 and took off less than 4 hours later.
