Frank Sparkes Blue Ribbon Award

Frank Sparkes Elementary School in Winton was named a National Blue Ribbon School. They were given the award based on their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. It is a huge honor and only one other school in the Central Valley received this award in 2014. Pinedale Elementary was also named a National Blue Ribbon School.
