Armenians, community members and lawmakers mark the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. 2.5 Million Armenians were killed in 1915 in the Ottoman Empire. 99 years later violence and religious intolerance still exists in the region. Turkey continues to deny that the Armenian Genocide ever took place. The Central Valley is home to one of the largest Armenian populations in the country.
