The 40th Anniversary of the Hmong arrival in the United States is celebrated in a special art exhibit on display at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Hmong Story 40 looks at life in Laos before war, the Secret War, life in Thailand and refugee camps and finally life in California. The San Joaquin Valley has one of the largest Hmong populations in the United States. Info about exhibit: hmongstory40.org
